Restart a Heart
We're working with Yorkshire's schools to equip young people with vital skills for life.
We want to train more people across Yorkshire to respond to a medical emergency - can you help us?
The Yorkshire Ambulance Service Charity funds two community education initatives. We are trying to enable as many people as possible to respond in a medical emergency.
We financially support the annual Yorkshire Ambulance Service Restart a Heart Day in October each year. Through this project we have trained more than 75,000 young people in basic life saving skills.
We fund a Community Engagment Trainer who works with community groups. In 2016/17 we trained 2,900 across Yorkshire and The Humber.
