Community Engagement

We Help You Save Lives

We believe everyone should know what to do in a medical emergency. Our charity is training people across Yorkshire in how to respond to a medical emergency ... we want to do more.
  • The Yorkshire Ambulance Service Charity funds two community education initatives. We are trying to enable as many people as possible to respond appropriately in a medical emergency.
  • We financially support the annual Yorkshire Ambulance Service Restart a Heart Day in October each year. Through this project we have trained more than 75,000 young people in basic life saving skills.
  • We fund a Community Engagment Trainer who works with community groups. In 2017/18 we trained 3,285 people across Yorkshire.
