Rizwana, Accounts Receivable and Treasury Manager at YAS
Rizwana won the YAS Charity Lottery jackpot, scooping the top £1,000 prize.
With 200 players now in the lottery we have winners on a weekly basis across the organisation. Rizwana is the second member of staff to secure the star prize in two weeks!
Rizwana said: “My role is within the Finance Team, and I work very closely with the staff of the YAS Charity, so I am fully aware of what a great job they are doing.
“When the charity lottery was advertised, I decided to sign up immediately as I wanted to support a charity that is based within Yorkshire and is helping to save lives.
“When I received the call to say I had won the jackpot prize I was extremely shocked; I had to ask if they were sure it was me as I was struggling to believe it!! I am the type of person that never wins anything so was very overwhelmed by this news.
“My intention when joining this scheme was not to win, I was in it to help save lives, so this has been a bonus. I plan on putting my winnings towards a long overdue luxury holiday to the Middle East with my family.”
